Men’s Fellowship:  Every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. the men meet at church for prayer and fellowship, except the first Wednesday of each month is dinner at a location TBA. 

Ladies Fellowship:  Usually on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 5:00 p.m. at Yucaipa Church of God, Sandy Lidbom leads the book study of the women of the Bible.

Bible Study: Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:00p.m. in LR and Sandy’s home.

Children’s Church: Bible-based Sunday school for youth at Yucaipa Church of God at 9:30 a.m. led by Joanna Hemsley.

The Power of Love

  I believe that love is a powerful force that every human being has or can encounter in life. It can bring two hearts together in marriage, it heals and restores relationships, it brings prodigal sons and daughters home, and many more incredible stories can be attributed to love.

   Well, February is the big month we celebrate and emphasize love.

  Apostle Paul describes that power of love by reminding us in 1 Corinthians 13: 5-8, “Love does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” 

   Can you think of any more force greater than that? I submit to you that there is none, because the author and origin of love is God.

   1 John 4:8 says, “Whosoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”

   Love never fails. Only we failed to live in love. What about starting all over again? Begin with the person closest to you, your family and your neighbors.
