Men’s Fellowship:  Every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. the men meet at church for prayer and fellowship, except the first Wednesday of each month is dinner at a location TBA. 

Ladies Fellowship:  Usually on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 5:00 p.m. at Yucaipa Church of God, Sandy Lidbom leads the book study of the women of the Bible.

Bible Study: Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:00p.m. in LR and Sandy’s home.

Children’s Church: Bible-based Sunday school for youth at Yucaipa Church of God at 9:30 a.m. led by Joanna Hemsley.

  WELCOME NOVEMBER!!! A great month of thanksgiving. Wow, a month when lots of turkey dinners, parties with friends and family reunions happens. Yes, we all look forward to these activities with excitement and joy. I bet many of us have calendar plans already.

  Well, allow me to remind you of how King David celebrated thanksgiving in Psalm 34:1,3:  “I will extol the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips. Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together.” Thanksgiving is about God, His goodness, mercies, love and will for our lives. Psalms 107:1,2:  “Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, His love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their stories.”  So instead of talking about us, me, we, he, she, they, let’s talk more of the goodness of God. That is who God is. He is good and He is good all the time.

  King David furthermore said, “From the rising of the sun, to the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.” (Psalm 113:3)  Apostle Paul in 1Thessalonians 5:18 said, “Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for us who belong to Christ Jesus.”

  So everyday this month, let’s enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. We can do this as we recognize Him as a good God, we transform our mindset to be more grateful of all our resources, both small and great, and decide to tell others of how we experience His love, grace, and goodness.  Happy Thanksgiving!
